Cheryl Wright is a Financial Services Assistant for Avantax Planning PartnersSM. She collaborates with our Financial Planning Consultants to deliver a streamlined experience to clients, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and all client paperwork and financial data is handled in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
Cheryl is also involved in training new financial professionals and assistants in procedures and managing the day-to-day activities of financial assistants, along with supervising, reviewing and maintaining quality control of tasks and financial paperwork. Cheryl executes an assortment of administrative duties and is integral in coordinating between various locations and departments of her branch location, including liaising with CPAs.
Prior to joining the firm Cheryl was a paralegal for 24 years becoming one of the first paralegals to be board certified in family law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. She is also a former member of the Legal Assistants Division of the Texas State Bar. She is an outgoing empty-nester and when not working, her favorite days are spent on the river with her friends and her Doberman or lounging poolside on a summer day.
